RTPI's 4th Renewable Energy Conference 2009

This topical one-day conference will enable planners to understand the implications of the new Climate Change PPS and the Government policy on renewable energy.Speakers will produce examples of developments where these targets have already been met together with the benefits and key issues they encountered. This conference will examine the issues surrounding renewable energy and discuss how planners can ensure that Government targets will be met.

An introduction to design appraisal -The Masterclass

A one-day masterclass introducing a new 10 step method of assessing design quality in development proposals. The method, developed by Urban Design Skills, includes an appraisal of urban design qualities using a toolkit of simple diagrams.
