Terms and conditions of booking

Fees

The fee for an event covers all written materials, lunches and refreshments as stated on your original booking form (and accommodation if residential). A VAT invoice and joining instructions will be sent to you to acknowledge your booking. This includes a full statement of our terms and conditions and a venue location map. Please contact us if you do not receive this within seven days of booking.

Payment terms

Payment is required either within 28 days of the date of the invoice or the day before the event, whichever is the sooner (the relevant date is shown on the invoice). We reserve the right to refuse admission if payment is not received on time. Unless otherwise stated on the booking form, payment must be made in pounds sterling.

Companies outside the EU

If your company is based outside the EU we will require full payment prior to booking you a place on a course. To make a booking and to pay over the phone using a debit or credit card, please telephone our customer services team.

Discount policy

Multiple booking discount only applies to delegates booked at the same time and may not be used in conjunction with any other special discount or offer which may be offered from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, any discount available on an event may not be used in conjunction with any other special discount or offer which may be offered from time to time.

Transfers

If you wish to transfer to another event your request must be received, in writing, at least 28 days before the event, stating the date and name of the event to which you wish to transfer (which must be within twelve months of the event for which you originally booked). Transfers will only be accepted if the booking has been paid for, however, if it hasn’t you will need to settle the invoice before we make the transfer. We will allow you up to two transfers if necessary. Please see below for the appropriate charge for this administrative service based on the cost of your booking:

An additional invoice will be sent for this charge. The original invoice still stands and needs to be paid (if outstanding). If you transfer your booking at this stage, you cannot subsequently cancel it. You may make one further transfer but you will be charged for it and you may not defer the booking for more than twelve months. Thirteen days or less prior to the event, your place may not be transferred, but a substitute delegate can be named at any time before the programme begins.

Substitutions/Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking your cancellation must be received, in writing, at least 28 days before the event. If payment has been made a refund will be arranged. If payment has not been made the booking will be cancelled from our system and we will send you a credit note. Please see below for the appropriate charge for this administrative service based on the cost of your booking:

Important note

Your booking form constitutes a legally binding contract. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the content and timing of the programme, the speakers, the date or the venue. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, we will automatically make a full refund but hereby disclaim any further liability. If the programme takes place but you are unable to attend, whether for reasons within or beyond your control, the above conditions in relation to transfers and cancellations will apply.

The Training Provider accepts no responsibility for loss occasioned to any person acting or refraining from action as a result of the information disclosed by the Training Provider during the event.

All bookings on our events are subject to the above terms and conditions and your acceptance of them constitutes a legally binding contract under English law. You will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions (a) at the time of booking if using our website or (b), for bookings made in any other way, unless we hear from you within seven days of our sending you this document.
